As its name suggests, the ceramic sand production line is designed to produce ceramic sand which is also called ceramsite. Ceramic sand is the artificial lightweight aggregate with clay, mudstone, various shale, slate, phyllite and coal refuse. The ceramic sand production line uses fly ash as main raw material to produce ceramic sand, and functions to process, crush and mill the material into balls and then burn them. Ceramsite is a multi-hole, ceramic and granular material with a solid shell outside. It has a layer of water proof and gas preservation with microporous structure inside.

Ceramsite produced by our ceramic sand production line bears the features of light texture, heat preservation and sound insulation. It also has high strength and low water absorbing capacity which can be used for bricking-up and stuffing in buildings taking the place of stones. Compared with the concrete, ceramsite is lighter in proportion, richer in plasticity and stronger for quake-proof. Applied in bridge and building construction, it can save 2/3 of the cost.
